President Uhuru buys the youngest MP a vehicle

President Uhuru on Friday 15, 2017 kept his promise by delivering a vehicle to Igembe 23 year old Igembe South MP John Paul Mwirigi at State Lodge, Sagana. Hon. Paul Mwirigi is the youngest ever elected MP to be elected on Kenyan soil. Having vied as an Independent candidate, Hon. Mwirigi could transverse Igembe South Constituency on foot during campaigns. During his intervies on Churchill Comedian Show, he opened up by saying how he could even sleep at his constituent's homes since he could not afford to go home. "After day's campaigns, I could sleep at one of the constituent's homes. Even eating, it is the people who fed me during meal times," he told the audience amid laughter. During the swearing in day, Mwirigi had to commute from Meru to the parliament using public means. He thanked the President for the gift, saying he will now be able to serve his constituents better with the new vehicle.

Trump vows to help Florida rebuild after the Irma Hurricane

President Trump, the Vice President Mike Pence and Melanie Trump toured the neighborhood affected by the Irma Hurricane and served the victims with food. The president acknowledged the emergency rescue crews that saved the affected. Trump promised to return to Florida numerous times to continue supporting the residents who are planning on rebuilding their homes adding that the Irma Hurricane was in another level “nobody has seen before.” He visited the State a day after police had launched investigations into more eight deaths that occurred at a Nursing home whose conditions were sweltering since air conditioning had been knocked down by the storm. That means that more than 80 people had died because of Irma across the US and the Carribean. It is approximated that, nearly 2.7 million homes and business are still without power in Florida. Mr. Trump handed out sandwiches to residents while Mike Pence and the First Lady, Melania gave them bananas.
