Trump vows to help Florida rebuild after the Irma Hurricane
President
Trump, the Vice President Mike Pence and Melanie Trump toured the neighborhood affected
by the Irma Hurricane and served the victims with food. The president
acknowledged the emergency rescue crews that saved the affected.
Trump
promised to return to Florida numerous times to continue supporting the
residents who are planning on rebuilding their homes adding that the Irma
Hurricane was in another level “nobody has seen before.”
He visited
the State a day after police had launched investigations into more eight deaths
that occurred at a Nursing home whose conditions were sweltering since air
conditioning had been knocked down by the storm. That means that more than 80
people had died because of Irma across the US and the Carribean. It is
approximated that, nearly 2.7 million homes and business are still without
power in Florida.
Mr. Trump
handed out sandwiches to residents while Mike Pence and the First Lady, Melania
gave them bananas.
